Composed of 50% recycled tire rubber materials, the EVARING is a durable protective ring placed around the base of runway lights and other outdoor fixtures.
The EVARING is an ideal solution for preventing vegetation overgrowth and protecting lighting infrastructure. It's simple, easy to install and maintain, and environmentally friendly.
About EVARING

Founded in 1997 in Beatrice, Nebraska by pilot turned airport manager Donald Fitzwater, EVARING was a solution to a problem. When Donald needed to manage vegetation growth around critical infrastructure like runway lights, he created the EVARING.
Almost 30 years later, our mission is to deliver sustainable infrastructure solutions that reduce operational burden while improved safety and environmental outcomes.
Cost Effective
When compared to alternatives such as concrete pads or ongoing labor, the EVARING offers good value. The EVARING can transform a recurring maintenance bill into a one-time infrastructure cost.
Sustainablity
Manufactured using approximately 50% recycled tire rubber, the EVARING uses recycled material that aligns to federal and state sustainability priorities.
Simplicity
The EVARING's circular shape makes it easy to install at the base of runway lights, fire hydrants, signposts, and more. Not only does it offers installation without excavation, it's also portable and easily replaceable.
Industry Partnership
EVARING was created by a pilot and airport manager who understood the operational pressures of running an airfield. Your unique needs are taken into account in everything we do.
